Opportunity to demonstrate New Technologies in Transmission, Distribution, Renewable Energy Integration, Smart Grid and Communication.
Space Booking: Stalls can be booked in Hall No. 9, 10 and 11 including the area reserved for MSE and Start-up Pavilions. Discount of 50% on stall charges shall be provided as incentive to MSEs and Start-ups in specified area in Hall 9. Stalls in Student‟s Innovation Pavilion shall not be available for booking, instead would be allotted separately.

For booking in MSE pavilion

following would be eligibility criteria:

Should be registered in India as Micro or Small Enterprise under Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Development (MSMED) Act, 2006 (documents need to be uploaded during stall booking) Should be manufacturing or providing services in any of the field of Power Transmission, Distribution, Renewable Integration, Smart Grid and Communication.

For booking in Start-up pavilion following would be eligibility criteria: Should be incorporated or registered in India and recognized by Govt. of India as Start-up (documents need to be uploaded during stall booking) Should be manufacturing or providing services in any of the field of Power Transmission, Distribution, Renewable Integration, Smart Grid and Communication Minimum area of the stall will be 12 sqm. Stalls upto 20 sqm area will be of readymade (shell) type. Stalls with area more than 20 sqm can be bare or readymade type. For built-up readymade booth, following shall be provided: Fascia, carpet, two tables, four chairs, one power plug, one dustbin and three lights for each unit of 12 sq.m. Extra furniture can be hired for which payment is to be made directly to the authorized agencies (halogen lights not permitted).

Stall Charges: Bare space - Rs. 24,000 per sqm. (plus GST@18% ) Shell/Readymade stall - Rs. 25,000 per sqm. (plus GST@18% )

Booking shall be confirmed only after receipt of full payment towards stall booking charges. If full payment is not received within 7 days of online booking, POWERGRID reserves the right to cancel the booking request.

"Student's Innovation Pavilion

As part of GRIDTECH 2019

"Student's Innovation Pavilion" shall be established as part of GRIDTECH 2019 where students community would be able to demonstrate emerging technologies in their working models in the field of Transmission, Distribution, Renewable Integration, Smart Grid /City, Communication etc. as per following list (but not limited to): • Power Quality Management • Robotic technology in transmission/distribution line maintenance. • Condition Monitoring of the substation equipment / transmission lines (eg. Sag monitoring system, Transformer monitoring system etc.) • Power system automation & control • Power System Protection • Fault current limiter • VSC based fact devices • Innovative technologies for renewable generation and its integration into grid • Microgrid (AC/DC) • Forecasting for renewable generation • Energy Storage Technologies • Energy efficiency • Meter Data Acquisition & Management System (MDAS , MDM) • Outage Management System for distribution network • Peak Load Management System, Demand Response • Application of Phasor Measurement Units • Fault detection in cable distribution system • Communication technology to integrate sensors & meters for Smart Grid Applications • Smart Meter • Smart Home Energy Systems • Electric Vehicles & Charging Infrastructure • Smart City:  Smart Transport  Smart Security  Smart Water Management  Smart Building Eligibility Criteria: • Regular student(s) of Undergraduate / Post Graduate courses from Govt. recognized Engineering / Technology Institutes • Team should not be greater than 3 persons • Support letter from Institute Project Submission Procedure: • Team Member has to fill the registration details on this portal • Upload of write up including photographs if any (500 Words, 2 MB size) All the projects shall be evaluated through designated committee and only shortlisted projects shall be provided space for demonstration in the pavilion.
