GUWAHATI, APRIL 28 : Airports Authority of India (AA), public sector undertaking under the Government of India, signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with Arunachal Pradesh Industrial Development and Financial Corporation (APIDFC)
As part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) AAI has taken several steps to sustain and empower under-privileged communities near its airports and provide necessary help in socio-economic development of the region. AAI is working in health, sanitation, Paper Recycling, Rural Sports Education & Skill Development.
Airports Authority of India has agreed to support the project by providing financial assistance under its CSR initiative for an amount of Rs.5.49 crore as per the estimates prepared by APIDFC , Arunachal Pradesh. The project is to be completed in 12 months from the date of execution of the MoA.
The MoA was signed by Mr D.S. Gariya, General Manager(Engg.), AAI & Er. Takhe Tamo, Managing Director, APIDFC Ltd. In presence of Mr D.K. Kamra, Regional Executive Director, North East Region and senior officials of Airports Authority of India.
