NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 13 : Airports Authority of India (AAI) in an effort to foster the exchange of traditional Indian values and to generate awareness of the cultural traditions and heritage of India with collaboration with SPIC MACAY is back with the second edition of Dance & Music in the Park for dance and music lovers of Delhi. This year, the two-day event is being organized on November 1, 2018 and November 18, 2018 at Nehru Park, Chanakyapuri. The event will showcase the performances by renowned artists Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan (Sitar) &T.M.Krishna (Carnatic Vocal), Dr. Sonal Mansingh (Odissi)&Priyadarsini Govind (Bharatnatyam).

The first day will be graced by performances of leading exponent of the Etwaha Gharana - a renowned Sitar Player Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan and T.M. Krishna, vocalist in the Carnatic tradition.

Priyadarsini Govind, one of the foremost Bhatatnatyam dancers among the current generation and recipient of Sangeet Natak Akademi Award will perform on the second day of the event followed by the performance of eminent classical dancer Dr. Sonal Mansingh, Member Parliament (Rajya Sabha). She is unique among performing artists of India because of her training and deep knowledge of several Indian Dance styles as well as three classical music traditions of India.
