NEW DELHI, JUNE 21 :

Mr Sunil Mehta, Managing Director & CEO of Punjab National Bank,(PNB) the second largest Public Sector lender, spoke to the members of PNB Parivar, on the occasion of International Day of Yoga which was celebrated in the premises of Central Staff College, its apex training institute, located at 8 Underhill Road, Civil Lines, Delhi.

He addressed the gathering and informed them to adopt Yoga as a way of life for betterment of their health.

"When divisive powers gain prominence then it leads to disintegration. It leads to division among the people, division among the societies and division among the countries. When there is a division in the society then it leads todiscord within the family and the person breaks down from inside and tension in life continuesto grow." - Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi

He addressed the gathering and informed them to adopt Yoga as a way of life for betterment of their health.

Yoga culture

He also spoke about the Yoga culture being placed on the global map and that the entire scientific and technological world has accepted and adopted Yoga as a route to maintain good health and enjoy its benefits in daily lives.

He also exhorted the PNBians to revive the legacy of Yoga and take the rich cultural heritage passed on to our generation further.

The event was attended by a large number of employees of the Bank and several members of their family. Mr Sunil Mehta, Managing Director & CEO, along with Corporate General Managers S/Sh. GS Gusain, Punit Jain, Dr. BM Padha, Ms. T Latha, SK Misra, BN Mishra, Ms Neerja Kumar and other active participants in the Yoga activities.
