GURUGRAM, OCTOBER 12 : Power Grid Corporation of India (PowerGrid), a 'Maharatna' Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under Ministry of Power,Government of India has been rated 'Excellent' (Score 96.29) in Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for FY 2019-20 signed with Ministry of Power (MoP).

MoU Score and Rating for FY 2019-20 of CPSEs have been recently released by Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Finance.

PowerGrid's score under MoU FY 2019-20 is highest among CPSEs under administrative control of MoP.

The MoU targets

The MoU included targets related to various parameters such as Financial, Physical, Human Resource Management, Project Execution, etc. Apart from this, special emphasis had also been given to targets related to Technology Upgradation, Innovation and programs for Leadership Development of Women Employees.

The company has been consistently rated 'Excellent' under MoUsince first MoU for FY 1993-94.

The tranformation capacity

As on September 30, 2021, PowerGrid has 262 Sub-stations and about 1,70,700ckm and 4,51,350MVA of transformation capacity. With the adoption of latest technological tools and techniques, enhanced use of automation and digital solutions, POWERGRID has been able to maintain average transmission system availability >99 per cent.
